“You ask me if I’m a ‘Christian.’ Well, please tell me what you consider a Christian to be, and I’ll tell you if I am one.” William Paul Young, author of the New York Times bestselling novel, The Shack.
My evening with William Paul Young, the author of The Shack has made quite an impact on me. What he said was very thought-provoking, and as I listened I wished I had time to digest it. I think everyone in the room could relate to at least one of the captivating and pivotal stories he told.
While there, I thought of friends and family: George, Heather, Vanessa, Stephanie, Dori, Jenifer, Brenda, Charlotte, Lisa, Maryanne, Lauren – to name a few – and wished they were with me. It would have been so cool to hear other opinions, thoughts, and see the reaction.
It seems a whole bunch of people were wishing the same thing because I just got an email from Tribe House saying a recording of the evening is available! I can hardly wait to hear what you think! Please share your comments, even the “un – believers.” (You’ll know what I mean)
